    Ahjamu received about 286 1st place write-in votes (the most votes in the election) and was elected on the first round. His eligibilty was challanged by Sherna Gluck and he could not prove that he had paid for a subscribtion in the required time period. His victory was voided and his votes were vanquished, not transfered to second or third choices. The National Election Supervisor decided instead to promote the 1st alternate Israel Feuer. This decision has been challanged in court and the case is still pending as of 20 Jan 2008.
